News from Head of School

I have exciting news to share about next year's facilities. For the past few years, School leadership has been focused on strategic advancement of Geneva School, including how best to configure our School into one unified campus that provides economies of scale, better communication with families, and most importantly, an ideal academic environment for our students. In answer to our prayers, God provided a way for us to have our own, unified school space for the coming year!

The Geneva School Chamber Choir and Fourth Grade brought glad tidings of great joy to The Salvation Army. In their third annual caroling visit, they sang Christmas carols during lunch service and handed out winter accessories to those in attendance. They then performed outside, delighting passersby with their Christmas renditions.

Violinist Jeehae Lee holds master class at The Geneva Conservatory of Music

Violinist Jeehae Lee of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra visited The Geneva Conservatory of Music on November 10, 2017 to teach a guest master class for the string students. She coached students on their individual repertoire including J.S. Bach and Vivaldi, giving suggestions to develop both technical and musical skills. In addition, Ms.

Geneva Faculty Awarded Ignatian Educator Award

Upper School Bible teacher and Dean of Students, Ms. Kristin Smith, was awarded a Ignatian Educator Award at Xavier High School on Wednesday, April 26.

Geneva School alumni and Xavier High School freshman, Timothée Kampouris, submitted an essay in which he described his favorite educator and the qualities that made her great. Those teachers were invited to a special awards ceremony in the Xavier Commons, where excerpts of the students' nominations were read.
