Academic Evaluation

Geneva School students are evaluated using various methods, including presentations, projects, recitations, essays, paper-and-pencil examinations, classroom discussions, the Eighth Grade thesis Cicero's Podium, and the Classic Learning Test (CLT) assessment.

Below are the scores from the Comprehensive Testing Program (CTP) assessment produced by Educational Records Bureau (ERB). This standardized test is given by top independent and select suburban schools in New York City and the nation. Geneva School has consistently scored higher than the median for independent schools on this annual test.
