After-School Activities

The Geneva School of Manhattan offers a variety of extracurricular classes for students in Pre- Kindergarten through Eighth Grade.

After-school programs, weekdays from 3:15 to 4:45PM, include art, chess, drama, music, dance, and sports. Following is a sampling of our after-school programs:

  • Art instruction
  • Ballet
  • Chess Club, an affiliation of Kids Chess Network
  • "Coach's Choice" sports and exercise class
  • Geneva Knights sports teams: soccer, cross-country, basketball, and volleyball
  • French lessons for continuing Upper School students
  • Musical theater
  • Robotics
  • Speech and debate

In addition, The Geneva Conservatory of Music offers private music lessons in piano, violin, and cello. Upper School students can also choose to participate in Student Council and yearbook activities. Application forms for after-school programs are sent out prior to the beginning of the each semester.
