After-School Activities

The Geneva School of Manhattan offers a variety of extracurricular classes for students in Junior Kindergarten through Eighth Grade.

After-school programs run weekdays from 3:15 to 5:00PM. Additionally, we offer extended care until 6:00PM. Following is a sampling of our after-school programs:

  • Art
  • Ballet
  • Chess Club, an affiliation of Chess at Three
  • "Coach's Choice" sports and exercise class
  • Geneva Knights sports teams: soccer, cross-country, basketball, and volleyball
  • French lessons for continuing Upper School students
  • Musical theater
  • Robotics
  • Spanish
  • Speech and Debate
  • STEM

In addition, The Geneva Conservatory of Music offers private music lessons in piano, violin, and cello as well as chamber music and music theory classes. Upper School students can also choose to participate in Student Council and yearbook activities. Application forms for after-school programs are sent out prior to the beginning of the each semester.
