Geneva Conservatory Mission and Values

Located in Midtown Manhattan, The Geneva Conservatory of Music works in accordance with the values, purpose, and mission of The Geneva School of Manhattan, a coeducational school which offers a classical, Christian education and aims to  instill a lifetime love of learning, engage the mind and nourish the spirit, and nurture faith and character.

To this end, The Geneva Conservatory of Music offers quality, classical music education from the framework of a Christian worldview to students from all backgrounds and schools throughout New York City. Our world-class teachers encourage creativity and love for music, emphasize excellence, and foster values such as service, communication, and leadership.

Our aim is to create well-rounded musicians who not only are proficient on their respective instruments, but who also have a solid grasp of music theory and musicianship. Frequent performance opportunities and access to professional performances throughout New York reinforce our students’ pursuit of excellence.

Friendship, encouragement, and communication are the building blocks of our community as faculty, students, and parents come together to create a warm, supportive environment. Each student is encouraged to develop his or her own creative ability while gaining an appreciation for the creative abilities of others.

Students flourish in an atmosphere that celebrates God-given creativity and inspires each child to grow not only in their musical abilities, but also in the formation of their character and service to others.
